A small finish.

It seems that I have less and less to show here just lately..........most of what I've been doing is for an exchange of one kind or another but I think I'm safe to show this little pinkeep that I've made.
The design is one of a set of four Seasonal Spots by the Drawn Thread.
I stitched it on 32 ct Sand by Silkweaver and the backing fabric is by Moda.
The other picture is a little pincushion that I made a while ago from the instructions Heidi http://needlenecessities.blogspot.com/ has on her blog. I just couldn't get a bow to sit right no matter how hard I tried so in the end I just tied on a piece of wired ribbon which seems to look OK.

How pretty Margaret, bows are a bit of a pain at times, aren't they? Going to check out Heidi's blog.

The pinkeep is gorgeous! You will have to share the details. Now that I conquered the bag, a pinkeep sounds like fun!
The pincushion is so cute. Bows and I do not get along!!

Oh Margaret! What beautiful things you have been making. I love the pinkeep - the front and the back. Your pincushion is lovely, and I think the wired ribbon is just perfect. Your photographs are eye candy! Congratulations on some lovely finishes.

IT'S LOVELY!!! Another fantastic finish. Such pretty colours. Rebecca is going to love it.

Brilliant using the wire edge ribbon on that cute little cushion.

Wow! The pinkeep is so pretty and so "summer cheerie". It is like you wrapped sunshine around it. I love the fan sitting with it by the way. I only have one doll's fan and have always thought of collecting them. Do you have many?

Great job on the 1800s pincushion. I think it looks wonderful! Hopefully more people will have fun making these too.

Ooh Margret - pretty pinkeep! I'm a big drawn thread fan... I am with you on the bow thing. The tie on pillow I made it took many tries to get the bows even remotely right!
