Quilted Garden Pail
This is a little project I made a while back. It's from a pattern by Farmyard Creations and I made it up in Debbie Mumm fabrics. The little flowerpot buttons are handmade by women in Africa.
When I bought this pattern I had visions of making all kinds of pails - Easter pail filled with chocolate eggs, Halloween pail filled with tricky treats, Christmas pail filled with holiday goodies etc. but this is the first one I've done so far.
My quilt group will be having a Christmas bazaar in October to raise money for breast cancer research so maybe I'll whip up a few more.

Now now is just too cute. What a great idea, and the possibilites are endless. Would also make a great waste basket.
Hi Margaret,
This is very cute, and such a clever idea! I love the flowerpot buttons - very special. Your flowers are pretty too! Maybe one day you'll just get the urge to make more. Thanks for sharing this.

Margaret do you have a link for the pattern please?
This is so adorable. I saw something similar online and printed out the pattern but love this one with its handle. If you do make them for the fundraiser, I hope you will share photos of how they turned out.
It is so good to have you back home and being able to check in with you on your blog. I missed you.
