Tiny Treasures

Just a quick post to show off some of the stitched gifts I've received over the last few week.
I just love little things and all of these are so tiny.
First up is a pinkeep from Brigitte in Germany. Brigitte stitched a Prairie Schooler design with the letter M. Isn't it lovely?

I was blown away when I received this tiny little pinbox from Francoise (no blog)
Francoise has stitched Blackbird Designs Buttons and Blooms over one and fitted it into the lid of a box of pearl head pins. Everything about this is so dainty. I love it.

Finally, Sandra in UK stitched this gorgeous strawberry scissor fob for me. Click on the picture for a close up of the stitching and finishing. It's so beautifully done.
Sandra doesn't have a blog but she if you want to see some gorgeous stitching and finishing you can visit her Picasa albums.

I've just remembered a few things I stitched as Christmas gifts but forgot to show here. Some of you may already have seen them on Nancy's blog but for anyone that hasn't seen them here's a pinkeep I made using a chart from a German booklet I have called Kreuzstichmuster. This is the front of the pinkeep

and here's the back view. The initial comes from the same pattern book

This is a set of needlework smalls that I stitched using a chart from Theron Traditions - Stray Pins and Moms Scissors. I was getting a little tired of the design after stitching it three times (once over one for the fob) and the border yet a fourth time for the back of the needlebook!

Here's a view of the back of the pinkeep etc.

and a view of the inside

I have a few more finishes to show but will save those for next time.

Thanks so much for visiting me today :)

Margaret

Margaret, what a beautiful collection of stitching you have treated us to. I love it all.

Such a pretty dainty pinkeep from Britt and the beautiful pin container from Francoise is absolutely gorgeous and so useful. I just love this litle design.
What a lovely strawberry from Sandra. It's such a detailed and exquisite piece of work

Your gifts are as lovely as ever and so thoughtful. Seeing this beautiful little German mermaid you've stitched for Nancy brings back such sad memories of the mailart that never arrived. It looks really pretty in the soft blue you've stitched it in. The set of smalls is just gorgeous. I am in awe of you stitching 3 times!!
Well, your blog has really brightened my day :>)
Hugs, Angela

Such beautiful and special gifts, but then you are a very special person! Britt's pinkeep and Francoise's pin container are gorgeous like all their work. And, the strawberry is lovely.

You already know how much I love my gifts you stitched, and they are even more beautiful in person! They are special treasures.

I love the pinkeep you made for Nancy, very neat. Also like the way you used part of the chart for the back of the Stray pins needlebook.

Hello Margaret, I can imagine you were tired of the same pattern, but the result is so beautiful! Lovely things again. I also love the 'redwork' Hazal made you.

Have a nice weekend and how I long for the sun when I see that last picture!
Greetings, Carolien

Margaret, those needlework smalls are really outstanding. And so is the mermaid pinkeep. Such beautiful stitching and finishing!

What a clever idea from Francoise to embellish a little pin container. And I'm very relieved that you like the little pinkeep I made for you.

Margaret, just wanted to say how lovely the gifts were that you received. I just love all these cute little "smalls" that are available to stitch and how clever designers are.

I also want to "Thank You" publicly on your blog for the incredible purse and smalls that you stitched and I was lucky enought to receive as my birthday present. You are a wonderfully sweet person and fabulous stitcher.
