It's been so long since I had anything to post about that I've all but forgotten I even have a blog! It's not that I haven't been busy - I have, but most of what I've been working on is top secret. Hopefully I'll have pictures to share in a few weeks.
Meanwhile one small thing that can be shown is the Winter design in a set of four seasonal quakers by Homespun Elegance. I love this series and want to stitch the other three in the set. This one (my favourite) is done on 32ct Lambswool linen using Carries threads.
Thanks for looking!
Margaret

Beautiful little pillow, Margaret. It looks very cute in your tree. I haven't had much time for blogging lately, either. I hope you have a very happy Christmas.

Your little stitchery is very nice! I am very attracted to these. I received one as a gift from a blogging friend. I am not sure if it is from the same set of designs but it is very similar.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful design. I love Homespun Elegance very much. And I love it being finished in a little pillow. my favourite way of finishing at the moment.
ReplyDelete32 Count sounds tiny. Is it difficult to see to make the stitches? The smallest count I've ever used was 22, would that be hardanger cloth, I can't recall. I don't do cross stitch anymore but I always loved doing it.
ReplyDeleteOh, Margaret, this is just beautiful. I love Carrie's Threads as they are so vibrant. Lovely job.
ReplyDeleteI love this design Margaret and I am going to try to find it so I can stitch one some time .
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend
